Fortunately for you, AGOGA and BUF Girls have joined forces this November to bring you the greatest charity adventure…
BONDI’S AMAZING RACE
Get fired up team! It’s time to get involved with our inaugural charity race around Bondi on Saturday morning, 26th November 2016, with all proceeds being donated to the Movember Foundation Australia and the McGrath Foundation.
Agogians have always got each other’s backs, and we’re really excited to be supporting two wonderful charities that do so much vital work. The McGrath Foundation raises money to place McGrath Breast Care Nurses in communities across Australia as well as increasing breast awareness in young women. The Movember Foundation prioritises the funding of three of the biggest health issues faced by men; prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and mental health and suicide prevention. Mo Bros (including myself!) and Mo Sistas have just kick-started this hilarious month of mo-growing and exercise challenges.
By bringing together the AGOGA and BUF Girl communities, we’re looking to raise money while having a memorable morning of riddles, teamwork, fact-finding, Insta-challenges, artefact collecting, hidden secrets and plenty of hilarity – this point-scoring race will burst your Bondi bubble. PLUS,we promise there’ll be no high-intensity training! You’ve never experienced the unknown and exotic lands of Bondi like this before.
So cancel any plans, free up your Saturday morning on the 26th, and get a team of friends together to support some incredibly important causes. This will be a day to remember.
Here’s what you need to know:
When: Saturday 26th November 2016, from 9.30am-12pm
Where: We’ll start off at AGOGA at 9.30am where the rules and starting challenges will be tackled. After racing around Bondi, we’ll then finish up all together at 12pm at The Bucket List on the beach for some well earned celebrations and an award ceremony
What to bring: Comfortable clothes and sun protection (hat, sunscreen, sunglasses etc)
Cost: $25 entry fee per person
